Anderstorp Raceway, also known as Scandinavian Raceway, is a motor racing circuit located in Anderstorp, Sweden. It opened in 1968 and became Sweden’s most famous racing circuit. The track is best known for hosting the Swedish Grand Prix in Formula One during the 1970s. The circuit is known for its long straights, flat layout, and unusual features, including a runway-style section because the track was also connected to an airfield. Anderstorp hosted Formula One, motorcycle racing, touring cars, and sports car events over the years. One of its most famous moments came in 1976, when Jody Scheckter won the Swedish Grand Prix in the six-wheeled Tyrrell P34. Today, Anderstorp remains an important part of Scandinavian motorsport history.
