
Ahvenisto Race Circuit is a motor racing circuit located in Hämeenlinna, Finland. It opened in 1967 and is one of Finland’s most historic and challenging racing venues. The circuit is often nicknamed “Appara” and is known for its forest setting, narrow track, and steep elevation changes. Ahvenisto has a fast and technical layout, with several blind corners and limited run-off areas, making it demanding for drivers. It has hosted many types of motorsport, including touring cars, single-seaters, motorcycle racing, and rallycross.
